Fine art or the fine arts encompass art forms developed primarily for aesthetics and/or concept rather than practical application. Historically, the five greater fine arts were painting, sculpture, architecture, music and poetry, with minor arts including drama and dancing. Today, the fine arts commonly include the visual art and performing art forms, such as painting, sculpture, assemblage, installation, calligraphy, music, dance, theatre, architecture, film, photography, conceptual art, and printmaking. However, expect these arts four other Departments of social science Department of History, Department of Public Administration, Department of Economics and Department of Geography has been included in Fine Arts.
Department of Fine Arts is supported by experienced faculty and Quality infrastructure. All department impart education leading to degrees viz: BA, MA and Ph.D. Department prepare the candidates for different competitive tests like IAS, RAS, NET, P.S.C., S.S.C, Railway etc. and other administrative services. After completion of Degree one will also be eligible for School-college/ University Teacher. Pass out candidate of MA (History) may apply for diploma in ASI (Archaeology Survey of India) and also eligible for Museum Curator, Historical Monuments Guide. MA in Economics candidate may also make their career in Financial and Services, Industry, Marketing, Public Sector, Housing etc. Such as degree holders candidate of Geography have a better chance to identify a variety of geographic sub-disciplines with corresponding sample job as Geomorphology, Weather and Climate, Biogeography, Economic Geography, Political Geography, Cultural Geography, Population Geography, Human Environment Interaction, Cartography, GIS, Photogrammetric, Remote Sensing, Field Methods, Spatial Statistics, Regional Geography, Global Perspective etc. Thus student find suitable placement after going through these courses.
