Institute of commerce and Management made its modest beginning in 2009.The focus was on research in emerging areas of management education and to achieve excellence in professional education. The department has not only kept the pace but has become a first in many things. It was the pioneer in starting the super specialized programme like MBA (Finance), MBA (Marketing), (MSW) MBA (Pharma) MBA (Biotechnology) MBA (Security) apart from the popular MBA with dual specialization with specific purpose to provide quality education in management and to make more meaningful contribution to the larger interest of the society with a clear focus on the present day needs of the market and aspiration of the individuals. Faculty of the department is engaged in the research activities and has attained national and international exposure by publication and participation in national & international seminars & conferences. The achievement mainly in form of the conferences it conducted, national and international conferences its faculty members attended and presented papers therein, placement of the students have had and teaching methodology that made this department the unique one. Teaching Methodology
