The Department of computer science and information technology was established in the year 2009 at Shri Jagdishprasad Jhabarmal Tibrewala (JJT) University, Jhunjhunu. Our department offers Diploma, B.Tech. M.Tech. and Ph.D. degrees.
The department has well equipped Laboratory, as our computer labs include database lab, Programming Lab, Networking Lab, Unix Lab, Linux Lab, Oracle Lab, Net Framework Lab, MATLAB lab, Internet lab, Operating Systems Lab and few more are under development.
The department is having highly educated faculty members with good experience in their particular field. The department has a well-balanced workforce with sound experience in academics and industries.
Students are given education as well as training exposure in order to get placed in highly reputed industries. Symbios is between placement cell and the department helps the students to achieve the best of the jobs of their careers. Proper industrial interaction is given to the students by organizing national level workshops, seminar and conferences in the campus.
Computer hardware assembling competition cum workshop is organized by the department, so student get knowledge about the hardware specification and assembling process. And web development workshop by the neutron software pvt. Limited, New Delhi. Organized by the department in the past years. In these events eminent personalities from industry and educational institutions were invited to the campus for student’s interaction and guidance. The students had presented their talents in these workshops.
Exposure as well as training is provided to the students for advanced studies and various guest lecturers and mock campus interviews are conducted time to time to facilitate the students and create awareness.
Industry visits and practical projects are also encouraged by the department in various sectors; students are taken out to industries for practical understanding of the technology.
our all courses passed out students find placement as a trainee engineer in various companies and some names are INFOSYS, Tata Consultancy, Wipro Technologies, Accenture, HCL Technologies Limited, Satyam computer services, Patni computer system, etc.

Teaching Methodology

The aim of the department is to develop ways and means by which the basic cultural and aesthetic values and perceptions remain active and dynamic among the people. It also undertakes programs of preservation, encouragement and dissemination of various manifestations of contemporary creativity.
